Monday night

After delivering puppies I got the flu Friday night and today feel a little back to normal. Thank goodness for Lisa who stuck around kept me company and took care of feeding me and the dogs.
Took some pictures tonight for your viewing pleasure.

Almost like a mini series

After a restless night on Tuesday Isla's temperature dropped first thing Wednesday morning. I immediately called Lisa and told her to kiss Travis goodbye and get in the truck. Of course like always I interrupted Lisa's plans for the day like making us carrot cake to bring on Thursday. After Lisa packed up her kitchen and brought all the ingredients to make carrot cake she hit the road. Apparently Wednesday this week was RCMP blitz day not good for someone who is trying to beat puppies to my house. The day dragged on and consisted of us making cake and trying to keep Isla out of all the tight spots she wanted to nest in.

this was one of her favorite spots
After a string of pay per view movies, several bad PVR's, and a Magnum PI Marathon. Isla finally decided to start having puppies at 5:20AM. She finish the last puppy around 10:00. And her they are.

Ah!!! Procrastination

Six days left and still no whelping box.

Everyday we get up, Kyle and I say to each other "we need to build the whelping box today" And then things pop up and it still hasn't gotten done. It is kind of like starting a diet or trying to stop smoking. Tomorrow will be the day but no something always happens to get you to avoid the situation. All I know is that Lisa is coming down on Thursday and if it is not built by then she is going to kick my ass.

Kelpie is as Kelpie does

Risk pretty much has very little boundaries

Kyle lets him do anything he wants

What are you doing

There is one boundary he is not aloud to cross. But lately we caught him crossing it.

Left us no choice but to put him on a line every time he goes out.

Baby Daddy

Two weeks left and she still has a waist line

Isla had a visit from Hope this week. She was very happy to see him. Some might say flirty.

They even got to move the lambs around the field together.

Isla has decided in the last couple of days that she is not going to eat. So to conserve her energy she is not going to get much work before the babies come. We want all the calories to go to the growing pups.
