A day of birthdays

The pups are two weeks old today and apparently I have not been posting enough pictures of the babies to satisfy my readers. So I will try to put more random puppy pics up. Also today is Risk 1st birthday. I can hardly believe it has been a over a year since I decided to add a Kelpie into the mix. I still love him as much as I did the first time I saw him.

Happy Birthday Risky

OK now for new baby pics
The girls are by far more active and opinionated.

I know you are not suppose to tell yet but I think this boy is going to have blue eyes or speckled eyes like his mom and grandma.

Mystery Solved

Beware of this cute innocent looking couple.
They go by Norm & Vicki Close
I am going to call them modern day tricksters

Remember back in September I eluded to finding a snake in my bed when we were in Sturgis.

Well tonight I get an e-mail from Miss Vicki saying they had miss placed something while at the finals their pet snake. Now I have to go around apologizing to all thoae people I accused of this hannis crime.
Sorry to Scott, Grant, George, Milt, Tony, Stormy, Herbert, Bobby, Chuck, Don and finally sorry to Lisa. In a moment of weakness Grant and Scott had me convinced that it could have been Lisa my good friend and roommate.

All I have to say is "well played Norm and Vicki"
and remember payback is a bitch.

Monday night

After delivering puppies I got the flu Friday night and today feel a little back to normal. Thank goodness for Lisa who stuck around kept me company and took care of feeding me and the dogs.
Took some pictures tonight for your viewing pleasure.

Almost like a mini series

After a restless night on Tuesday Isla's temperature dropped first thing Wednesday morning. I immediately called Lisa and told her to kiss Travis goodbye and get in the truck. Of course like always I interrupted Lisa's plans for the day like making us carrot cake to bring on Thursday. After Lisa packed up her kitchen and brought all the ingredients to make carrot cake she hit the road. Apparently Wednesday this week was RCMP blitz day not good for someone who is trying to beat puppies to my house. The day dragged on and consisted of us making cake and trying to keep Isla out of all the tight spots she wanted to nest in.

this was one of her favorite spots
After a string of pay per view movies, several bad PVR's, and a Magnum PI Marathon. Isla finally decided to start having puppies at 5:20AM. She finish the last puppy around 10:00. And her they are.

Ah!!! Procrastination

Six days left and still no whelping box.

Everyday we get up, Kyle and I say to each other "we need to build the whelping box today" And then things pop up and it still hasn't gotten done. It is kind of like starting a diet or trying to stop smoking. Tomorrow will be the day but no something always happens to get you to avoid the situation. All I know is that Lisa is coming down on Thursday and if it is not built by then she is going to kick my ass.

Kelpie is as Kelpie does

Risk pretty much has very little boundaries

Kyle lets him do anything he wants

What are you doing

There is one boundary he is not aloud to cross. But lately we caught him crossing it.

Left us no choice but to put him on a line every time he goes out.
