Risk is looking for a new home

This is one of those times I don't like about this whole sheepdog thing. We have decided to find a new home for Risk. He is not going to make a working dog. He is going to hurt him self again or hurt the stock. He is no longer trustworthy around the yard or while working. Risk would be a great sport dog. He is very enthusiastic and willing to learn. He would also make a good companion dog for an active family. He is good with other dogs and people. He is house trained, crate trained and travels well. Risk needs to goes to a home where there is no livestock around. If you know someone who may be interested they can e-mail me at phantomridge@gmail.com

You Lucky dog

My dogs are very lucky and spoiled. They have a heated kennel with cushy beds. Some of the however that it for granted.

Craig did not approve of my choice of bed for him. I felt bad because he was on his own when it was cold snowy and raining. He had already pulled all the straw out of his house so I put a nice cedar filled bed in for him.

Almost looks like it snowed in his run. Craig has taken some time off from working sheep to mature a little. We call him our golden retriever. He is always happy and waggin his tail. This morning he was running with the other dogs not paying attention and fell into the big hole in the ground dug for our basement. So Silly

My new best friend

This is my new view from my couch

Yes folks we are officially living in our holiday trailer. Today the house was moved. Pictures of the move and updates on the new house can be found on my house blog.http://louanneslittlehouseontheprairie.blogspot.com/

A friend stopped by tonight and I think he is my new best friend.

He also brought along a friend. Who I will enjoy another night or maybe tonight. We will see how much my family annoys me. This leads me to introduce you to a new segment of my blog. I am going to call it "Wine reviews from the trailer park."
This weeks review is from British Columbia's own Therapy Vineyard. My red choice is Super Ego. A nice light fruity wine. Really reminds me of Junior High and wine coolers. Ah!! Rockaberry good times.
My White choice is Freudian Sip. Also a nice light fruity wine.
Until tomorrow.

Freakin out a little

I entered the Big Willow trial in Idaho the beginning of May. This week the confirmed entries came out. I am feeling a  little unprepared. Big Willow is a big hill trial run on range ewes.

The dogs are I am running in Open are not exactly the strongest dogs. Both are very different running styles so that may bode well for me. So hopefully one of the two can bluff those sheep around the course.

Please be kind to me girls.
