Risk is looking for a new home

This is one of those times I don't like about this whole sheepdog thing. We have decided to find a new home for Risk. He is not going to make a working dog. He is going to hurt him self again or hurt the stock. He is no longer trustworthy around the yard or while working. Risk would be a great sport dog. He is very enthusiastic and willing to learn. He would also make a good companion dog for an active family. He is good with other dogs and people. He is house trained, crate trained and travels well. Risk needs to goes to a home where there is no livestock around. If you know someone who may be interested they can e-mail me at phantomridge@gmail.com

Beautiful dog! If he's not neutered, please neuter him before you sell him. I have 2 friends with Boston/Vision Ledgerock Kelpies with epilepsy and there may be more since the breeder refuses to pass on the info on this disease to other owners. Not sure of the breeding on your dog.

I will keep Risk in mind. I have two kelpies doing agility and sheep herding. One is from Cold Lake, Alberta and the other from Washington. How old is Risk? I take it he is a Ledgerock dog. From what breeding? I get interest and comments all the time on my guys but Kelpies are not for the typical family (I have found). Mine require a lot of time and exercise but that is what I love to do. I may be out in Alberta near your area with my dogs later this summer. Love you Blog.

So sorry to hear Risk hasn't worked out for you. He's such a handsome boy. I hope you are able to find a great home for him.
